Port Moresby Bomana War Cemetery is a Commonwealth War Graves Commission cemetery of WWII Australian, NZ, British, Indian, Canadian and PNG soldiers who died during WWII. There are over 3800 graves here.

It is well maintained by the Australian government with a full-time landscaping team, and is very peaceful to relax at surrounded by nature.

This is a must to visit here when you come to Port Moresby.

Every year on ANZAC Day (April 25th), a commemoration ceremony is held at dawn to honour the soldiers who gave their lives to help win WWII.

The Bomana War Cemetery is open to the public and does not require an admission fee. Learn about the casualties of the war and pay respect to the lost soldiers.
