About Adventure Park

Papua New Guinea is home to about 800 species of wild birds and is a paradise for birds.

Adventure Park is a fun, affordable place to see unique PNG animals and to hold an event such as a picnic or birthday party.

Here you can meet beautiful and colorful tropical birds, such as the Bird of Paradise, Cassowary, and Victoria Crowned Pigeon, the representative birds of Papua New Guinea.

When you come to the park at 10:00 or 15:00, you can see the birds feeding.

From the entrance, take a left to get to the Crocodile section. Crocodile shows are held every Saturday and Sunday from 15:00.

Adventure Park is located in National Capital, approximately 15 to 20 minutes from the city of Port Moresby. Only a 5 minute drive from Bomana War Cemetery.

Admission is free, but the viewing fee for Orchid Garden & Bird Sanctuary is K5.

The ferris wheel is a landmark. When you enter the park, take a right to explore the orchid garden. The garden is full of various kinds of colorful orchids and a large aviary.

As you will be outside, be careful of the heat, as temperature will often be higher than 30 degrees Celsius and there is high humidity, so we recommend that you take a refreshment at the café with a view of the pond in the park during breaks, and wear sunscreen so you don:t get burnt!
